I'll warn you right up front that these photos are not the greatest. Everytime I would try to snap a shot, a breeze would come along and spoil everything. However, since I have no daughter small enough to model these. I guess, this is the best I'm gonna' get.
I have become the number-one fan of these little outfits. I think my daughters and I figured out that these three pieces (peasant shirt, knotted jumper, and ruffle pants) could be mixed and matched to a total of six different ways.
Add the little pants and the peasant shirt, it can be suitable for wearing on a cooler morning or evening OR wear the jumper/sundress alone in the hot afternoon.

Wow. isn't that above comment very Chinese.....
These dresses are SO cute! I love the addition of the peasant blouse. A family I used to babysit for makes them too, and sells them on Etsy.
Someday, I'll be looking closer to figure these out, I think it would be a great way to use up odds and ends of fabric. Goodness knows I have more of those than you can shake a stick at!
Very cute!
very, very pretty! I can't believe you sold it right after finishing it!
Actually....I can.
You are right-they ARE versatile! Never thought of that before!
How do you have your opening for the knot? I made Corynn's birthday dress that way last year and I used a button hole-but the knot slips through and the hole has eventually stretched a bit. I think I ought to have used one of those metal circular things (what are they called?) Anyway-I like the look of the knot and the fact that they are adjustable...but I need a more reliable hole. Any suggestions?
Rebecca,
You don't need to use rivets in place of buttonholes. I answered part of your question here.
